“Being a part of APU Women’s Soccer was about being part of something far bigger than myself. This program wasn’t just about soccer it was about growth, faith, and lifelong community. It taught me what it truly means to live in a Christ centered team environment, where we pushed each other to be our best both on and off the field. Every challenge I faced, every moment I was stretched beyond my comfort zone, was an opportunity to learn, grow, and realize that I was capable of far more than I ever imagined.

If I could do it all over again, I wouldn’t hesitate. APU Women’s Soccer strengthened my faith, gave me some of my closest friends for life, and empowered me to approach challenges with courage and boldness. This program develops not only athletes but also strong, purpose-driven women who carry their experience far beyond their playing years.

If you are considering APU, know this: your life will not be the same if you choose to be part of this program. You will leave forever changed, marked by an experience that shapes you in ways you never expected. If you want to be part of a team that challenges you, supports you, and walks alongside you in faith and competition, APU Women’s Soccer is the place to be!”

“Being a part of Azusa Pacific Women’s Soccer has been a transformative experience, both on and off the field. Through my time with the team, I had the incredible opportunity to travel to Mexico twice, where we helped out at a children's home, creating lasting memories and a sense of purpose beyond the game. These trips not only shaped me as a person but also deepened my sense of community and responsibility. The program has been pivotal in developing my leadership skills, and I’ve learned how to be more accountable and confident both on and off the field.

One of the most special aspects of the program has been the strong bond formed with my teammates. The relationships we’ve built have created a sense of family, where we support one another in every aspect of life.

To any recruit considering this program, know that Azusa Pacific Women’s Soccer isn’t just about athletics—it's about building character, developing as a leader, and creating lifelong relationships with incredible women who share a common purpose.”

“As a member of the APU Women’s Soccer team, I had the honor of continuing a legacy of excellence within my family, who has a rich history of national championships at APU. It was an eye-opening experience for me. My life had always been about soccer until I was faced with the unfortunate reality that it was over too early due to injuries. But it wasn’t over—because I was still a part of this team. I learned what it means to be a part of something bigger than myself and how to truly serve the people around me. Those experiences, in my opinion, weigh heavier than any minute on the field could have.

While I didn’t get to experience life on the field as much as I had hoped, I wouldn’t change a thing. The program at APU is about more than just soccer—it’s about growing as a person, building lifelong relationships, and learning to overcome adversity. This program has given me so much, and I feel blessed to have been a part of it.

I want others to know that no matter who you are, you’ll come out of this program a better person, with incredible experiences and surrounded by people who love and support you.”

“Being a part of APU Women’s Soccer was more than just competing at a high level—it was about growth, leadership, and faith. This program shaped me into the person I am today, challenging me on the field and strengthening my character off it. Some of my most meaningful moments weren’t just in big wins or tough practices, but in the relationships built with teammates who became family. APU Women’s Soccer is a place where you’ll be pushed to be your best, supported in your faith journey, and surrounded by people who genuinely care about you.

This program isn’t just about a game—it’s about who you become through it. The best part of the program is playing for an audience of One and witnessing hearts transformed as teammates step into God’s kingdom.”

“I am incredibly grateful for my time as a member of the APU Women’s Soccer team. My unique experience of walking onto the team after my sophomore year at APU gave me a deep appreciation for the value of being part of this program. Like many athletes, I had hoped to play collegiate athletics, but injury had taken me away from the game. Coach Lincoln graciously opened the door for me to try out, and I am so thankful she did!

My time on the team was characterized by extreme growth. Through the coaching staff’s leadership and the guidance of my teammates, I experienced tremendous leadership, spiritual, and character growth. I can confidently say I walked out of the APU Women’s Soccer program better equipped to step into the real world as a difference-maker.

The program also allowed me to walk away from college with lifelong friendships. Together, we struggled through the trenches of fitness, walked through big life moments, and celebrated one another’s successes. To this day, my teammates are still my village, and we continue to walk through life together… with a little less fitness!”
